About Me
Back in 1982, a dear friend started me in leather work by teaching me to carve a wallet back and assemble it. Never did the two of us realize that I would be making a living from a much-enjoyed hobby. Since that first project, I have gradually learned more and more and grown more and more into what is now a full-time business. Those days I spent in front of K-Marts in the freezing cold or blistering heat taught me what people wanted. While I was a part-time vendor in a mall in Greenville, Mississippi, I learned how to sell and stock the right amount of items. As my business grew, I longed to do leather wholesale as my one and only job. On June 30, 2003, I left the barber shop and my full-part-time job and become a full-time leather producer! A dream come true.

It is a great joy to me today to encounter people who are still wearing the belt I made for them five, ten, fifteen years ago. It's great knowing that my belts reach from California to New York to Germany. I truly appreciate those people who recognize me and yell, "Hello, Mr. Belt Man!" I have made many friends through those years of making and selling leather part time. Now my business has grown to be full-time.

I continue the same process that has been successful for me. I have always used highest grade American tanned leather whenever it was available. My belts are stripped from 9 to 10 double shoulders to assure that they will stand up under tough wearing conditions. I make sizes 20 through 58 in two widths, 1 l/4 inches or l l/2 inch minus l/16th of an inch to allow the belts to slip through belt loops easily. All my belts are made with two snaps (gold or silver) to allow for the changing of buckles with a plain buckle to match. The belt keeper is also included.

I also handcraft key rings and wrist bands of the same grade leather. Along with the belts, these items can be dyed in light brown, dark brown, black, red, green, blue, purple, pink, mahogany, and white. I specialize in Greek letter designs and Masonic and Eastern Star bodies.

As a sideline, I supply wholesale money clips in gold or silver and tie bars and pendants in gold. Many different inserts are available in the same Greek and Masonic designs as used in the belts.

I look forward to making new friends and supplying you with handmade belts and other items that your customers will appreciate.
